Message from the Board Chair
Dear Friends,
Delivering Good was founded over 39 years ago with a vision of a more equitable world where children, adults, and families facing economic, medical, social, and environmental challenges have access to the essential items they need. By providing clothing, home goods, toys, furniture, shoes, books, and other consumer products, we help them overcome adversity and reach their full potential. Our mission addresses the needs of families and individuals during both the loud moments of disaster and humanitarian crises, as well as the quieter struggles with everyday challenges.
Our commitment to responding to loud moments was evident when catastrophic flooding hit Kentucky and Hurricane Idalia ravaged Florida. In these crises, Delivering Good was there, offering new items that provided hope, relief, and comfort to many who suffered significant losses due to these storms.
In addition to our disaster response, Delivering Good remained dedicated to supporting quieter moments—assisting families living in poverty, individuals seeking new opportunities, children in foster care, military families, and many more. Through our extensive network of community partners nationwide, we distributed over 10 million units of donated new clothing, toys, school supplies, shoes, housewares, and more. These efforts not only supported those in need but also offered companies a sustainable solution for managing their excess inventory.
This year, we also welcomed new team members at Delivering Good in various areas, including nonprofit partnerships, product procurement, and marketing and communications, to help us expand our reach and impact. I am excited to work with the entire team to continue addressing the needs of our communities.
Thank you for your continued support.
Warm regards,
Andrea Weiss

Message from the President & CEO
Dear Friends,
2023 was a remarkable year for Delivering Good. We set out with ambitious goals, and thanks to the talented Delivering Good team, our dedicated Board and Associate Council, and the unwavering support from our product and financial donors, we successfully enacted our mission every day. Connecting new items with individuals who often go without is an essential part of rebuilding lives, providing not just clothing, toys, and shoes, but also a sense of dignity and pride. This practical mission with heart is made possible by our incredible network of partners, volunteers, and supporters.
In 2023, we connected over 10 million units of new products, valued at $146 million, with communities in need. In 2023, we also began the development of the Basic Comforts Pack, our new initiative focusing on providing basic comforts like t-shirts and socks for individuals and families after a disaster, further enhancing our ability to provide immediate support to those affected by unforeseen events.
As we look ahead to 2024, we recognize the immense work that lies before us. With natural disasters on the rise, we must address the increasing demand for our services with innovative approaches and new strategies. Our collaboration with strategic partners on a cutting-edge disaster relief campaign exemplifies our commitment to ensuring that everyone who needs help receives the necessary support to rebuild their lives.
Our focus remains on expanding our network of and deepening our relationship with brand partners to provide more of the items most needed by our communities. Financial resources are crucial to our efforts, and we are diversifying our fundraising programs to engage a broader circle of individuals, companies, and institutional supporters.
Together, with our incredibly generous network of product donors and financial supporters, we are making a real difference in the lives of families and individuals across the US and beyond. Our work transcends the distribution of material goods; it brings relief, comfort, dignity, hope, and the reassurance that people care enough to help. It is this profound impact that drives us every day, knowing that our collective efforts are fostering resilience and uplifting communities in their times of greatest need.
We are making a real difference in the lives of families and individuals across the country – thank you.

Voices from Our Community
Poverty & Other Social Issues
Worth Fighting For, Las Vegas, NV
Worth Fighting for is a community partner that rescues, rehabilitates, and provides sustainable transition for survivors of human trafficking.
In June, 2023 they joined another local group to distribute a donation of bassinets, strollers, gift cards, journals, and more to homeless mothers and mothers to be in Las Vegas.
“It’s always a good day to be able to deliver brand new choice items like bassinets, strollers, gift cards, journals, and more to agencies around Las Vegas.
Living Grace Homes is a home in Las Vegas for homeless moms between the ages 14 and 24. Whether pregnant or newly parenting, their programs are designed to support women in acquiring the skills necessary to succeed on their own.
Thank you – Delivering Good and monthly partners.”
For people living on the fringes of society, even the most basic items of clothing like coats, underwear, and shoes can be difficult to obtain. Because of the generosity of our product donors, Delivering Good is able to provide new items that provide comfort, warmth, relief to even our most challenged neighbors.
Cherry Kids, Harlem, NY
In August 2023 Delivering Good partnered with product donor, Centric Brands for a distribution of new backpacks filled with school supplies and notes of encouragement from Centric Associates. Our brand ambassador Daiane Sodre along with board member Katie Storer. The children chose their own backpacks and had a great time sharing the contents of their packs with each other and played games with centric brand volunteers.
Providing new backpacks and supplies not only helps excite children for school, but it also removes any stigma tied to not having the same items as other children and provides financial relief for parents who struggle to cover basic expenses for their families.
HEROES Cares, High Ridge, MO
H.E.R.O.E.S Cares is a Community Partner that provides a range of services to help military families before, during and after deployment. If a household struggles to afford adequate food, other necessities like clothing, personal hygiene, and baby and infant supplies are also likely to be out of reach.
New merchandise provided by Delivering Good helps stock H.E.R.O.E.S. Cares’ Mission Depot store where military families can ‘shop’ a wide selection of new items – all free of charge. We are proud to provide relief and comfort for our service members and to be part of the dignified process H.E.R.O.E.S Cares has created for them.

Disaster Relief
4Good Community - Mississippi Tornado
In the wake of the tornado that hit Mississippi in March 2023, Delivering Good, with invaluable support from our esteemed product donors Hanesbrands, Carters, and Ralph Lauren, and our committed community partner 4Good Community, has played a pivotal role in providing immediate relief to the affected communities. We were able to distribute brand-new clothing to those hit hardest by the natural disaster, assisting them on the arduous path to recovery.
Through our collaborative efforts, we have delivered essential clothing items, including underwear, t-shirts, sweats, socks, and children’s attire, to the survivors. This initiative is more than just a donation; it’s a symbol of hope and a step towards rebuilding lives. The feedback from our local partner, 4Good Community, underscores the impact of these contributions. They shared touching stories from the ground, telling us, “Clothing was by far the most sought-after resource among the distributed aid. Many recipients, already grappling with economic hardships, expressed that this was the finest quality clothing they had ever received. This response deeply moved us, highlighting the significance of replacing what was lost with something even better.”
We are grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those recovering from such devastating circumstances, and we continue to be inspired by the resilience and gratitude of the communities we serve.
Delivering Good Partnerships
Delivering Good is grateful for the partnership of many companies who support our work in a variety of ways; helping us provide new products that offer relief and comfort for millions of families and individuals dealing with poverty, disaster, and other challenges.
CONSUMER ENGAGEMENT
Ralph Lauren has been a partner for decades. In that time, they have donated millions of units of new, quality clothing, supported our annual events, and provided volunteer leadership through representation on our Board of Directors. In September, they extended their support to include the engagement of their consumers by running a weekend long shopping event where 10% of the purchase price of any item from their stores benefitted Delivering Good during the promotion period helping to raise $25,000. The event helped promote awareness about Delivering Good and our work helping families and individuals. Also in 2023, Ralph Lauren generously donated to help our humanitarian efforts in Ukraine with a donation of $150,000
LEADING IMPACT
In 2023, Delivering Good partnered with American Eagle and Aerie for an end of year campaign, recognizing Jennifer Foyle, Chief Creative Officer of American Eagle Outfitters and Global Brand President of Aerie, as an honoree at our annual gala. This collaboration included a special AEO shopping event for community partner clients, a successful year-end CRM promotion, and a lead donation of 100,000 bras for our One Million Bras Campaign. American Eagle’s dedication to social responsibility and empowerment has made a significant impact, and we are proud to celebrate their contributions alongside this meaningful partnership.
INDUSTRY SUPPORT
In 2023, JPMA Cares, the charitable arm of the Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association, proudly chose Delivering Good as their charity of choice. This collaboration will pave the way for an influx of much-needed donations, including children’s clothing, strollers, car seats, and toys. Additionally, it will broaden awareness of our mission and the advantages that partnership with Delivering Good can bring.
BUILDING AWARENESS
In 2023, we partnered with Burlington for the Burlington Coat Event. The annual gently used coat drive model was shifted to a Buy 1, Give 1 model where Burlington donated a new coat for every coat purchased (up to 50,000 new coats). This shift had incredible benefits for our community partners, the recipients of the coats, and is aligned with our core focus to bring new merchandise to people in need. Thank you to our generous partner, Burlington, for donating nearly 60,000 new coats for communities in need in 2023!
Product Donors
Delivering Good is only able to provide support and relief for people dealing with an array of social and disaster-related issues because of the generosity of our product donors who choose to donate their excess merchandise instead of discarding or destroying it. Because we sit at the crossroads of social impact and environmental sustainability, Delivering Good provides companies with a responsible way to deal with their excess that has tremendous social impact.
In 2023 our brand partners donated more than 10 million units of new merchandise valued at $146 million. This generosity helped keep children warm with new winter coats, helped individuals reentering the workplace present themselves professionally, ensured underserved children had new school supplies, provided clean socks and underwear for victims of natural disasters, and much, much more.
Franco MFG:
“This is a family who had fire in their home over the holidays.
Within two days of receiving the bedding, we had the opportunity to provide it to a pastor and his family of six small children. They had experienced a fire in their home over the holidays that left them without basic necessities including a place to live. Pictured are the kids picking up bedding in hopes they will soon have beds to put it on.”

The Children’s Place:
“The Children’s Place is grateful for its partnership with Delivering Good and the opportunity we’ve had to collaborate on donating high quality returns to support children and parents in need. This effort is an innovative approach to our sustainability work helping us to not only support families but to prolong the life of good quality children’s clothes to minimize our waste footprint. Delivering Good’s willingness to adopt these new types of impact programs demonstrates their leadership and commitment to their partners.”

In addition to the program of speakers, the event featured a unique ‘gallery walk’ and a networking small plate lunch where attendees had the opportunity to interact with four of Delivering Good’s community partners and learn about the impact they create with products received from Delivering Good.
An Evening of Delivering Good
More than 500 guests gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street on November 1, 2023 to celebrate the work of Delivering Good and to recognize four outstanding honorees from the fashion, finance, and sports industries.
Our 2023 Gala: An Evening of Delivering Good, celebrated leadership and excellence in fashion, finance, and philanthropy, the “Evening of Delivering Good” was held at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. In advance of the gala, Delivering Good also launched its “1 Million Bras” campaign, aiming to unite the retail industry to donate 1 million bras to women and girls residing in domestic violence and homeless shelters across the US. To kick off the campaign, Aerie, the lifestyle brand owned by American Eagle Outfitters, donated 100,000 bras to the cause.
The same day we were also featured on the AEO digital billboards in Times Square to mark our annual gala event, the recognition of Jennifer Foyle from AEO/Aerie as one of our honorees, and the generosity of the gala’s top sponsors.
Our 2023 honorees included, Mindy Grossman, Partner at The Consello Group, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Thanks to our generous guests and event sponsors, the event raised a record amount, more than $1.6 million in support of Delivering Good’s work.
Organizational Leadership
Delivering Good could not impact the lives of so many people without the dedication and generosity of our Board of Directors and Associate Council. Together, these leadership groups provide the financial support, professional expertise, and personal commitment that make our work possible.
Probono Support
Thank you to our partners who have generously provided their services in 2023 pro bono in support of our mission.
